Hi, I’m Ari Mallegrom ('88). A digital (Product, UX/UI) and brand designer from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Passionate about transforming complex data into clear, user friendly designs—eager to learn and tackle the toughest design challenges.

Career Journey So Far
My journey began in architecture, where my childhood love of drawing led me to graduate at the top of my class and earn a project nomination for an award. Working under an architect honed my conceptual thinking and systems design. My ambition to broaden my skills led me to study design at the Art Academy.
My involvement with the refugee community in the Netherlands inspired me to volunteer in the Middle East. This experience, which included working with NGOs in Iraq to empower those in need, reshaped my perspective on life. Alongside my project offer/media director role, I continued working freelance as a digital (Product, UX/UI) and brand designer.
Now, I am ready for a new step in my career. I look forward to being part of a team again, creating beautiful projects together. I hope to grow my product design expertise to a senior level, using it to create seamless user experiences and transform complex data into clear, strategic designs. Next to work, I am an outdoor enthusiast and rock climber.

After a while, the design lead moved on, and I transitioned into a role with more responsibilities, managing my own projects. I served as the founding UX designer for a thrilling startup focused on eliminating waste in aircraft maintenance, in a part-time capacity. This is also where I was introduced to SCRUM and Agile working.

Digitalizing Aircraft Maintenance Workflows · MROair
MROair is a start-up focused on transforming the aircraft maintenance industry by reducing "the waste" in maintenance process. Traditionally, aircraft maintenance has been a complex, paper-based operation and MROair is determined to change that. I was involved from the beginning as the product designer, in which I played a key role in the development of both the product and the brand.
